  • Will DC to DC Converter Protect Tow Vehicle Alternator With Lithium Batteries
Hello again Paul; I read that as you wanted to install the batteries and the solar, not that you already had the solar installed, so sorry about that. A DC/DC converter will certainly protect the alternator but whether or not it is necessary is debatable. There are a lot of people towing with lithium batteries that don't have this on their trailer/vehicle and don't experience a problem. With the solar keeping you topped up it is even less of an issue unless you're boondocking and draining...

  • Parts Needed to Install Solar on 2016 Jayco Pinnacle 5th Wheel
Hey Paul; the answer to your question depends on what you want to do exactly. It also depends on what your trailer already has on it. I'm going to assume the 2016 Jayco Pinnacle you put in our fitguide is the trailer you have. I'm also going to operate off of the assumption that it has the solar prep in place. If it doesn't, you will need additional wires to run to everything. If you just want to charge the batteries you will need your 200W solar panel # 34282182 and feet # 34272708 and...

  • Replacement 6V Batteries for Trailer With WF-8955 Power Center
Hi James; are you looking for a battery recommendation? Part of that is the capacity you're looking for. The Go Power AGM RV Battery # 34277606 will work well for an AGM replacement and is a great option if you want a 224 amp hour battery. If you decide to switch to lithium you will need the Progressive Dynamics Replacement Section for AC/DC Power Distribution Panel # PD4655V to make your WF-8955 lithium compatible. We don't carry any 6V lithium but I personally use LiTime batteries which...

  • Will the Go Power AGM RV Battery - Deep Cycle - Group 27 Part 34277606 Work With WFCO 8725
Hey there, Cindy! We don't carry the WFCO brand so did some digging on the 8725 model. Based off what I can find you won't have to change to a group 24 battery. Power wise, the two are compatible with one another and will work just fine. As long as you have space for the Go Power AGM RV battery part # 34277606, you're good to go! The dimensions are 10-1/4" long x 9-3/4" tall x 7-1/8" wide.

  • Battery Box for Running Two Go Power Sun Cycle Solar RV Battery # 34277606
The dual battery box part # 329-HM426 would fit two of the Go Power Sun Cycle Solar RV Battery # 34277606 that you referenced. The outside dimensions of the box are also compatible with the space you mentioned having as well.

  • Why Does 2014 Holiday Rambler Vacationer Have Two 6V Batteries Instead of 12V
Hi Wayne; its is normal to find that on some setups. Your 6V batteries are wired in series which combines the voltage giving you 12 volts. You could replace the 6V batteries with a 12V like the # 34276285. You could also keep two 6V batteries like # 34277606 and keep them wired the same way. If you decide to replace them with two 12V batteries you need to make sure they're wired in parallel otherwise you will have a 24V system.

  • Battery Boxes Capable Of Holding 6V LifeLine Battery GPL-4CT On Trailer Tongue
For 6-volt battery boxes we have a couple options to hold your two 6V lifeline GPL-4CT batteries. I was able to see that this battery is 10.28" long, 7.06" wide and 9.92" tall. The Exterior is 17-15/16" long, 14-5/16" wide and 14" tall. Next the TorkLift PowerArmor Solar Locking Battery Box # TLA7712RS will allow...

  • Running Accessories from Trailer Battery and Generator
Basically you would just need to run everything including the generator to the trailer battery as this will ensure that when the generator is running it would be powering everything as well as charging the battery but when the generator isn't running the smaller accessories could still power from the battery. Sounds like you have a generator already, but we have AC units like the Furrion part # FR92PR as well as batteries like the # 34277606. We don't have any wiring diagrams, but like...
